Solid Oak is the most popular type of wood in Europe due to the beautiful wood grain and the endless possibilities of treating the wood with oil or paint to add the look you want. When the color is desired, the wood is easily sanded down and can be re-treated with a new oil or paint.

The designer has played with French wicker on our Curved Oak bed frame. The technique of braiding in an octagonal pattern on chair seats dates back to the 1600th century, where it emerged as the most popular braiding technique due to its long durability and beautiful appearance. 

- Perhaps that is precisely why it has now had a renaissance; it unites aesthetics with practice.
