With a visual dividing seam in the back and seat, rounded shapes and solid oak legs, the Frode sofa has a pleasant Scandinavian charm.

Frode easily transforms from sofa to bed. By simply removing the back cushions, you get a single bed - while by pulling the seat forward and folding down the backrest, you get a comfortable double bed for two.

The soft comfort is achieved by a pocket spring double mattress, which gives an extra soft feeling when you sit or lie in the sofa bed.

Frode with arms is recommended as an everyday sofa, as the rounded armrests ensure maximum comfort and a lounge effect in everyone stilling.

Under the seat, Frode holds a bed box that makes it possible to store blankets, pillows and bed linen.

Removable, washable and renewable

In 2021 we increased – and still do – our focus on removable covers, as this option makes it easy to choose more delicate fabrics and allows the cover to be renewed at the end of its life cycle.
Simply remove, wash and reattach the cover – or replace with a new cover to refresh the look of your sofa.

Natural quality materials 

With Innovation Living they also make mattresses from natural latex that is tapped from the Southeast Asian rubber trees called Hevea Brasiliensis. Naturlatex is a very sustainable natural material that is uniquely CO2-negative.

Designs for flat packing

In addition to flat packaging, Værkstedet uses a minimum of plastic in their packaging and has switched to more sustainable packaging alternatives. They are not 100% carbon neutral yet, but they keep working hard to minimize their carbon footprint.

Oeko-Tex

This sofa bed is outstillone with an eye on the environment and health – and is certified with the Oeko-Tex label. The Oeko-Tex mark verifies that a product has been tested for harmful substances, produced under proper and safe conditions. Thus, textile products from Innovation Living naturally no harmful chemicals and substances. Øko-Tex is housed in Denmark by the Danish Technological Institute, and is managed by the international Øko-Tex association, which continuously updates requirements based on the latest knowledge.

Innovation Living have since 1989 Handcrafted all their furniture themselves in Danish design and continuously work with sustainable and CO2 neutral measures such as renewable energy and optimization of packaging, so that your new sofa bed takes up as little space as possible and thereby uses as little cardboard/packaging as possible.

Danish Crafts and Design

Since we get all ours delivered Innovation Living products directly from the workshop in Denmark, close to where Vi/Uniquebeds has a warehouse and showroom, we are in close contact with the supplier and the workshop all the time and can therefore ensure that all materials and workmanship are of the best quality.
